I just played the Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course last week in N. Idaho. Right on the lake with the signature hole being a floating green par three. It’s the only floating green in the world. Unbelievable course. The fairways were like most course’s greens. Each hole had a view of the lake. Best course I’ve ever seen or played by far.

I’ve actually been doing that exact thing lately. I carry my clubs in my car and when ever I get a chance I’ll go chip and putt. It’s the number of strokes that are putts that keep me from really being competitive. But I can already see a big difference in my short game as the season moves along.

I shot a 39 three over on the back nine of a local course in North Idaho the other day. Two birdies two pars five bogeys. Felt good to stay away from that once in a round hole where you score an eight or nine.
